How this is calculated

Each reading is banded against the American Heart Association stages:

Normal: <120 / <80 mmHg
Elevated: 120–129 / <80
Stage 1 HTN: 130–139 OR 80–89
Stage 2 HTN: ≥140 OR ≥90
Hypertensive Crisis: >180 OR >120

When two readings are entered for one session, the rounded mean of both pairs is used for banding. The 7-day running average is a simple arithmetic mean of the trailing-seven-days rows (requires ≥ 2 rows in window).
